I met up with the Tall and gorgeous Ladies putting on the Sarahi Fashion show at Funkshion on Saturday, October 23rd. I set up 3 550ex units on TT5 transcievers. I took a few shots of the Kids show, some backstage candids of the Sarahi models, then stuck around for the Islands Of The world show. My lights were competing with the big tungsten runway lights, and the 5D seems to set the same shutter speed at different ISOs for some inexplicable reason. I still got quite a few real gems. Here I have simply uploded everything wherre the model, the couture, or both, look decent or better.

Question by Ivette: I just got my period today. Girls, what do I do now?
I went to the bathroom and there was blood on my underwear so I put a pad on.
Girls, I am a dancer. what do I do when I’m on my period?
HELP please all girls who are dancers (or not) but have their period!
Would it show through my leotard and tights? I don’t even have cramps!
Also, what’s PMS?

for dancers i would think a tampon would work better. they stay in place and you dont have to worry about them showing through your tights or leotard.
You dont always have cramps. I have found that as i age my cramps become worse.
PMS is Pre Menstrual Syndrome. Its no fun. you will cry for no reason, then all of a sudden get angry… sometimes headaches… its all part of being a woman…

Wear a light one that is like a liner. You won’t see it. If you can put in a tampon do it. I’m a dancer too. And I had the problem too.
Ok, well since you’re a dancer you should probably ask your mom to buy you some tampons. That would help a lot. But, if you don’t feel comfortable using those just try and maybe get some pads without wings. But if you wear a leotard that would cover all of your underwear then you’ll be fine wearing pads! Also, you don’t always get cramps right away. I didn’t get any until the second year I had my period. PMS is pre menstrual synrom. It’s just when you stress out before you get your period. Nothing to worry about too much. Good luck! :]
Well if you are worried about it then you could try using tampons. Tampons are better for sports because they don’t show and they only have the little string sticking out. I run track and I use tampons because they are easier to run in, in my opinion. And as for PMS it stands for Pre Menstrual Syndrome and it is basically signs telling you your period is coming. So of the signs are cramps, like you mentioned, tenderness of your breasts and bloating are common. And some women get a little bit of acne before their period comes too.
use tampons and you wont able to see anything. P.M.S is Premenstrual syndrome- go to this website it explains everything you need to know
Not a dancer but I can imagine that pads probably would be a bit uncomfortable while dancing so I suggest tampons. It may be a little uncomfortable if this is your very first period. But it just takes a little practice to get them in right. So just try a few at home.
PMS= Pre-menstral syndrome
Or just a fancy way to say how you’ll feel a week or so before your period. You may have cramps, mood swings, breast tenderness, or junk food cravings. Midol or tylenol helps with the cramps. Congrats on becoming a woman!
Congratulations hun! I know it seems awful now, but down the road, this will lead to great blessings in your life
I did ballet when I was a teen. I used tampons. They DO take a lot of getting used to, but when use properly, they are so awesome. If I wasn’t using a tampon, I would just use a pad and wear a skirt that lesson. Nobody will ever know. If you are worried, you can change it midway through your lesson (we always got bathroom breaks and I would do it then).
PMS is pre-menstrual syndrome. It includes symptoms such as moodiness and cramps. I didn’t really start to get PMS too bad until I was in my later teens. Even now, some months I get bad cramps and I am so darn emotional, but other months I don’t get any symptoms! Also during that time, you might experience lower back pain, breast tenderness and you will probably notice being unusually exhausted. I also used to break out around that time. But just keep hydrated and eating right and your symptoms shouldn’t be AS bad. You can also take some ibuprofen if your cramps are really affecting your life. Don’t worry hun, in a few years your period will be no big deal whatsoever!
I’m a dancer- more like was, but I still remember my days when I did dance, and had my period. The first step was good. Pads- they’re good. Tampons-better. A pad plus a small tampon- Heaven for dancers with period. 1st- congrats on your period. I hope it treats you well as it does every other woman on this earth. (: 2nd- what to do? simple. Get a SMALL pad. One that doesn’t go over your underwear. That way when you put it in your leotard, it will not show. Then get a tampon and put it in so that you are much less likely yo leak during jumps and stretching and stuff. If you do not want to use tampons, you can just stick with pads. Make sure they are thick to absorb EVERYTHING yet make sure they dont show over underwear, therefore it wont show through your leotard or tights and there you go! Not having cramps is great. i dont have them either. PMS is when you get crabby and mean to everyone around you. You may cry one second yet be so happy the next. It’s what makes boys call us crazy.
