Q&A: 14 yo, How to ask my mom about wearing thongs! HELP please!?

I met up with the Tall and gorgeous Ladies putting on the Sarahi Fashion show at Funkshion on Saturday, October 23rd. I set up 3 550ex units on TT5 transcievers. I took a few shots of the Kids show, some backstage candids of the Sarahi models, then stuck around for the Islands Of The world show. My lights were competing with the big tungsten runway lights, and the 5D seems to set the same shutter speed at different ISOs for some inexplicable reason. I still got quite a few real gems. Here I have simply uploded everything wherre the model, the couture, or both, look decent or better.

I recently turned 14, and I will be going into high school.
I have no idea how to ask/tell my mom I want a thong. She’s 50, and older than most moms, and I doubt that she ever had a thong. She treats me like im her little girl and everything because I never had a bf or kiss. I want a thong because i dont want my panty lines to show when i wear tight jeans/jeggings or when i wear my dance shorts and leotards, and I guess to fit in a little bit because my friends have them, and i heard they are actually comfy. I get straight A’s & have no intentions on wearing one to be slut, or to show it off to guys, im not like that. I don’t know how to ask my mom, and I have no idea what she’ll say. My friend said she asked her mom so they won’t show through her pants and her mom was fine with it. Another friend said she bought them and her mom found it in the laundry and then was just fine with it, and i know if I did that my mom would deff not be just fine with it. I know I’m freaking out too much but I really don’t know how to ask, and I don’t want to get one and hide it from her and then she finds out cause she does the laundry. I have an 18 y.o. sister but she doesn’t wear thongs & things are different cause she is disabled, so that’s no help. I’m going into high school, and i think its time i should get some. I wear string bikinis, which kind of look like a thong from the front,(even my mom says that, she even told people, “oh, she wear little string bikinis that are so tiny they look like thongs” lol) but they are from Justice, a kids store, not that anyone would know, but now I want to try wearing thongs. I am at the age where I feel like I can’t tell my mom everything, not that I hide anything bad, but I just don’t know how to ask/tell her! So basically, Please help me with what to say, how to say it, and when to say it.

Also, I am going to the mall shopping with my dance friend who is 15 on Thursday (3 days) and we will deff. be going to VS Pink, and I want to buy some undies from there, and hopefully will be able to get some thongs if I ask my mom before then! I’ve been talking to my friend that im going shopping with, and she says she always wears thongs and she keeps telling me to ask my mom, because she knows i want too, haha, but i can’t get the guts to ask my mom! I just don’t know what she will say, and if she makes a big deal out of it, and tells everyone then its embarrassing! My friend says the worst my mom can say is no, but i dont know:/ Also, I was thinking to ask my mom when we are in the car dropping me off at my friends, but only if its just us two, hopefully my dad wont take me or come with us!

Yes, I DANCE! And i totally hate when you can see my under wear through my leotard in ballet, and also the lines show horribly with my dance shorts!!!!!! Maybe help me out through that point of view?!
I BOUGHT THEM! At Victoria secrets pink today, it was so scary asking my mom last night, i finally said, "Can I get some new under wear.....at the mall" She said where at and I was like..."Uh...Pink" And she was like "it's expensive, why do you need more underwear?" & I was like "Can I get a thong.." & she immediately said "NOOOOOO" & I was like "Whyyy...i need it for my jeggings and dance shorts cause it shows my under wear lines and when i wear my leotard you can see my under wear!" So she wasn't sure at first, but then when I got to my friends house and after she talked to my friends mom she gave me a hug and i wispered "So..can I get them?" & she was like, "I guess!!" So yeah, i'm really happy but it was scary, but all in all, if I can ask, then YOU can! Thanks for all the answers, you all really helped!:}
