I met up with the Tall and gorgeous Ladies putting on the Sarahi Fashion show at Funkshion on Saturday, October 23rd. I set up 3 550ex units on TT5 transcievers. I took a few shots of the Kids show, some backstage candids of the Sarahi models, then stuck around for the Islands Of The world show. My lights were competing with the big tungsten runway lights, and the 5D seems to set the same shutter speed at different ISOs for some inexplicable reason. I still got quite a few real gems. Here I have simply uploded everything wherre the model, the couture, or both, look decent or better.

Question by Hannah: Should i quit gymnastics?
Ok well gymnastics just started a couple days ago and its a winter sport for my high school. Me and my two friends did it thinking it would be really easy but it is very very difficult. One of my friends did gymnastics when she was little and she knows a lot but i barely know anything. Its a varsity sport because nobody really does it and im a fereshman. It is very very intimidating and i dont know if i should quit or not. Our coaches dont really teach us anything but they recommended doing a winter program for beginners buti kinda dont want to do that beceause its probaly little kids like five years olds doing it. Should i quit or not??? I also reallyyy wanna do a sport but i dont think gymnastics is my thing. I cant even do round off ( a cart wheel but you land on both feet at the same time) well i can sorta do it. Pllleeaasssseeee heeelllppppp mmeeeeeeeeeeee. Nnnnnooowwwwwwww…i needa kow soonnn………( to be honest im onky really doing it for the clothes and cute leotards )
I also dont really find it that fun..i mean if i do something right of course everybody willbe excited but its not that fun to me. Me friends kind of sucked me into it and beforw they said were cutting people and to be honest i kind of wanted to be cut.

It’s simple: If you have fun doing it, stick with it, but if not, quit.

If you want to put in the time to improve, then stay in the sport. The only way it’ll get easier is taking the advice of coaches….they are not going to alter the varsity program, so their advice for a winter program is the only way those with little experience to really catch up.
I say do a winter program for beginners. How hard can it be if your friend is going to do it with you? Even though it will be full of kids, they will probably respect you for being older. I always thought teens were cool, all of them, even when they got put in the lower dancing classes with me. Me and my friends used to be like, ”omg they’re so cool,” even to those who probably weren’t cool, we thought they were…
If you’ve just started it will benefit you more going to the beginners class, even if at first you are there, eventually you will gain strength and you will be great at it. Don’t be ashamed to say you go to beginner gymnastics school- whats so bad about it huh? I look up to people who aren’t bothered by not being the best.
